These Terms of Service govern your use of Marketel's booking engine and front desk software ("the Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Marketel provides a direct booking engine and front desk management tool for independent hotels. We host your booking page, process guest reservations, and provide management tools accessible via your Front Desk PIN.

4. Guest Payments

Guest card authorizations ($0 holds) are processed through our Stripe account. We do not charge guests — the hold verifies their card and protects against no-shows. You collect payment directly from guests at check-in.

5. Availability & Uptime

We aim for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee it. We are not liable for lost bookings due to downtime, technical issues, or third-party service failures (Stripe, hosting providers, etc.).

7. Termination

We may terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay. Upon termination, your booking engine will be deactivated and your data retained for 30 days before deletion.

8. Limitation of Liability

Marketel is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms. We'll notify you via email for material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
